I bought this @doxawatchesofficial Sub 200 circa 2024 for the skipper of a 50ft yacht that we sailed from Mallorca to Ibiza and back.

The skip was my brother and it was his 40th birthday.

We unfortunately were caught in a storm around 2:00 am whilst under anchor, it took us about 4 hours to get to a position of safety, and for the sun to come up.

It was one of the most terrifying moments in my life.

It's strange what feelings a simple glance at a watch can bring back.

I was recently browsing for rubber strap options for this watch and came across this one that seemed to have just the right amount of vintage vibes to match the classic divers style of this watch. Still, just by looking at it in pictures it’s hard to imagine how it would actually look like in really life. Well, now that it’s here, I could have hardly wished for a perfect pairing! The larger part of the straps seems to be a perfect continuation of the case design and the big trapezoidal holes give it an old school look (also making it much more tolerable in hot weather)! 🌞

Also, I was very pleasantly surprised by how soft the natural rubber is and by the lovely vanilla scent of it… when I opened the envelope that it came in I felt as if I had just entered a bakery! 🧁
