When I left my apartment last night solo to see Friday the 13th (1980) at the Burbank 16 theater, I just KNEW I was going to meet and bond with some fellow horror nerds, but didn’t expect to connect this hard core! Got to be buddies with Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills, his awesome and talented girlfriend Nadia, effects wizard Chris Nelson, Trevor (from out of town), and Kai! Horror is strong baby!!! Keep rockin’ nerds.

🏒 Last night I took Abigail Salem to see the @nhlblackhawks against the @lakings with her Uncle Kai @doyledeee 🥅

🥅 It was a fun game filled with hits, popcorn and ice cream… including Abigail telling me at the start of the second period, “All done Hockey, daddy.” 🏒

Happy to announce my short film Mr Taps has already been accepted to 6 film festivals. I submitted to them a couple days ago and the reception has been amazing. I’m thankful and blessed that people are connecting with a character I created simply because my wife @jessicanhanson tapped two hangers together one night.

Thank you to Jess, Abigail, @a_jasperson @missvonfrankenstein @iamtwisted.elegance @doyledeee @april_moonchild_74 @a1ice106__ for making this an amazing experience. And if you’d like to see the short, DM me.

🕯️ This is the production design I created for my new Horror short MR TAPS. 🕯️

💀 It stars @a_jasperson as Mr Taps. Myself as “Husband”. @jessicanhanson as “wife” and Abigail Salem as “Daughter.”

@doyledeee is my assistant director as @a1ice106__ and @weaselwear assisted with the blood and makeup. @april_moonchild_74 Provided ice cream and awesomeness to the set and lastly my buddy @patrickwhenry is helping with the editing. I thank you all and hope you enjoy the 1st person POV of the horrors that is Mr. Taps. ☠️

💞 One of the things I wanted to do with this book was include my friends 💞

🖤 On top of the beauty of Salem, I believe one of its strongest qualities are the kind people who are there much like those in the horror community 🖤

💕 For this, I want to thank @iamtwisted.elegance @hhmagazine @doyledeee for your friendship and support throughout the years 💞

💚 I hope you give them a follow, and show support for their art, pages and overall because they are just kind and amazing people I am blessed to call my friends 💚

I haven’t returned this tape to Blockbuster for a while now, How bad do you think my late fee is?
Well luckily, this isn’t even a real VHS, it’s fully brick!
_
I was amazed with the build of the LEGO Villains Icons set (43227), that I wanted to recreate it so bad. Although I had to make some “DRASTIC” changes to it, mine is a bit larger than the set’s build of the tape. Mine is almost 99.9% accurate sizing to an actual tape. So it’s a few studs larger. Also some pieces aren’t very common from the LEGO set, so I had to swap out and come up with other things that would work. And a few other things here and there, color swaps, exterior changes.
I have yet to label the tape, but not 100% sure what film to name it at yet.
I may have another physical media build coming along real soon! Keep yours eyes peeled! And also, BE KIND and REWIND!

RITE HERE, RITE…
NOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!
_
One of my latest Lego Mocs is a mosaic of sort, of Copia, aka Papa Emeritus 4, lead of @thebandghost . (If you can’t tell, my favorite band for a while now)
I chose to do this image as it’s a crucial scene of their latest full length concert/ film, Rite Here Rite Now. (The GHOVIE). As per the song, this scene he is realizing his time has come, and everything has an end. “That is life.”
Fun fact: I attended both nights of the live Ghost shows in September filmed for Rite Here Rite Now, at The Forum; no phones just vibes, feeling it in our ta… (iykyk)
-
I also did / posted a similar Ghost mosaic of Papa 3 not so long ago, so check out if you haven’t already.
