Lookit in the bag.

Slide 1:
Sassy photoshoot of me & my bag. I made Devon Geyer take these on my way to the car after a video shoot without really knowing why I even asked. Great collaboration, brother.

Slide 2:
Sneaky boys in casinos with Stephen George. Photoshoot for an upcoming release of mine.

Slides 3 & 4:
Sari Jordan laying it down in a backyard in Highland Park via Common Folk & Fig Tree Sessions. I brought a large blanket & used the indoor bathroom once. Good vibes.

Slide 5:
A moving tribute to Hubba Hubba, a band that mysteriously vanished in 1976. These fellas really carry the torch.

@hubbahubba1976

Slide 6:
Went to see King Dream. It was, in fact, a dream. Pictured here are Jeremy & Joshua enjoying some complimentary feedback provided by me while I tried to help out with the sound. Perfection.

@kingdreammusic @joshuajamesjackson

Slide 7:
Jockey Jord prepares to play the main stage at Hotel Café for the last time. I prepared a tomato in my pocket just in case. I accidentally sat on it in my car later. I was not prepared.

@jockeyjord @cupofshow.la

Slides 8 & 9:
Put together another lil’ songwriter picnic in Griffith Park. I left with more chips than I brought. Such a giving bunch of people. Going to do more hangouts like this… maybe when I run out of chips at my house.

Slide 10:
Video shoot for Verna Margaret’s upcoming song, “East Texas Cowboy”. I hit an inflatable ball at the plate and healed years of childhood trauma. You CAN hit the ball. You ARE worthy.

I caught up with @doylesworld to talk about what keeps him in the game after more than a decade of buying, collecting, and selling vintage clothing.

Every piece has a story and so do the people behind it.

More conversations with the people shaping fashion from the inside out.

VHS NIGHT 📼

A few moments from Saturday’s screening of Five Summer Stories at Whammy!

Vintage surf, surf film history, & a room full of people who appreciate both. The goal was to create a space where surfing, history, fashion, & film could come together through communal events. This night felt like a step in that direction.

Thanks to everyone who came out & shared this with us. We genuinely didn’t know what to expect, & we’re grateful for the turnout, support, & conversations that came from it.

Until the next screening
