We kicked off the evening with these beautiful individual antipasto boards for each guest — the perfect Italian-American way to start the night!

What a night! I’m still taking it all in and feeling incredibly grateful. ❤️

It is such an honor to host and curate these special dining experiences for the VIP guests at Foxwoods—bringing together food, family, stories and the kind of moments that make a night truly memorable.

A huge thank you to Chef April @apesvitto and her incredible culinary team, and to the entire Foxwoods team, for working alongside me to bring my vision and menu to life. Every detail, every course and every moment is a true team effort, and I’m so grateful for this continued opportunity.

And making this night even more special was celebrating my debut cookbook, Bring Back Sunday Dinner, with a VIP book signing! 📖🇮🇹 Seeing everyone with the book in their hands, signing copies, taking photos and hearing your kind words meant more to me than I can say. The book signing was a huge success, and my heart is FULL.

It was a beautiful Spring day here in our lovely state. What better way to enjoy it then with the pizza strips voted number one by all of you here in RI: The Pizza State?!

D. Palmieri's has stood the test of time, selling pizza strips, regular pizza, assorted pastries and breads for well over a century. On my visit, I got to hang out with @ericjohnpizzaart , renowned for his skills at pizza portraiture. I have been lucky enough to have gotten to know him better from working with him for our past April meetup. He's always so friendly and ready to engage in a good conversation, a common trait among pizza makers I've noticed!

After hanging out to chat for a few minutes, I got back to my car and took a few minutes to unwrap and ready a piece of (in my opinion) the perfect road food: the pizza strip. D. Palmieri's won best in state for a reason, and I was reminded of that on the first bite. Zesty, a little tangy and a good chew. Oily in the best way. Before long the piece was devoured, and I was almost to my next destination.

Traffic was intense this afternoon but having a D. Palmieri's pizza strip for the ride makes it a bit more bearable and helps pass the time! Highly recommend it for the next time you find yourself in rush hour. 😁🍕
