The W4 Art Fair is back November 17-18. I feel privileged to be joining over 30 very talented established and emerging artists and craftspeople at this year’s Winter Art and Design Fair. The perfect opportunity to find seasonal gifts at studio prices. Save the date and come along to enjoy bubbles and opera singing and to support local artists. Where: St Alban’s Church, South Parade, W4 5LG (15 minutes walk from Chiswick High Road, 10 minutes from Chiswick Park Station or Turnham Green Station, and on the 94 & 272 bus route). Good morning 🤩 There’s a lot to tell you today, so I hope that you’ve had a strong coffee and are all ears. Firstly, the new antiques market that was planned for today has unfortunately been cancelled. I’m not going to get into the politics of it all but I do strongly believe that this, the flower market and the food market planned for next year are all brilliant ideas and are exactly what W4 needs. Not only will they put us more on the map but they will bring a lot of outsiders into the area and this is exactly what all of our shops and restaurants need. I wish them all the luck and success in the world. Secondly, I’ve been getting a ton of emails and messages about the current road closures and the cycle path chaos, and believe me when I say that I share everyones frustration and confusion. However, I would like to keep this page free from the negativity that surrounds it all, and besides, it’s getting enough airtime on all of the other platforms. And now onto more positive things... Today is Sunday and that means the next instalment of Indie Chiswick is available online at the Chiswick Magazine (link in bio). This week I talk about two very exciting local startups and I would be thrilled if you took the time to have look into them. @cadence_recordings who create digital family trees through voice recordings and video ...and @bentoncreative who can assist you with growing your brand’s awareness and following 👌🏻 And lastly, I’ve chosen this picture because I think that we could all do with a bit of colour this morning and because it also made the cover of the Chiswick Buzz’s 2021 Calendar. The very talented @annakunstphotography and I had the honour of judging and choosing the 12 months from some very talented local photographers. Checkout their pages below: ❤️@gabriellasgg 🧡@insightfulimages 💛@dpics48 💚@jsfegan 💙@sans.art 💜@linnypinny57 🖤@strandonthegreen_diaries 🤎@donna_schoenherr 🤍@alangmcbride 💕@natalianbobrova ❣️ @mars_mlb ....and as always, please excuse any typos or spelling mistakes 🤓 Happy Sunday 🤩
