A glimpse into my new solo “Between the Gap”
.
A piece born from my experience with MOGAD, exploring the space between receiving a diagnosis and actually understanding what it means for your body, your life, and the future you imagined.
.
Movement has always been my language. This time, it also became part of how I process, heal, and keep moving forward.
.
Sharing a little piece of it here. 🤍
.
Check out the full solo on YouTube 🎥link in bio!

@dpr.dance ~ 'Scat Cats'
The 45th Annual @batterydance Festival

Performers:
@dougie.robbins @alli_oop2 @antigramkat @kurt.horney @laukell_ @vstarthemusical

Choreography by @dougie.robbins

[Recording of full performance available at https://vimeo.com/1218554374 by Battery Dance, until 8/24/2026]

"DPRdance is a theater jazz company rooted in preserved Jack Cole technique, and brings original theater jazz pieces to concert spaces. Scat Cats is the first ten minutes of a 30 minute piece. In this piece, the incredible music of golden age jazz breathes life into a cast of six characters who dance the night away together in the Drunken Stumble Jazz Club. The playful and intricate structure of the music creates dialogue between characters resulting in romance, conflict and resolution. Based in the history of Jack Cole this piece embraces swing and contemporary fusions. "
