✨ Love was definitely in the air this Memorial Weekend ✨

We can’t let the weekend pass without sending a HUGE congratulations to Carrie & Clinton on their beautiful wedding day! 🤍 What an honor it was for us at Locals Lake Leelanau to cater such a meaningful celebration surrounded by so much love, laughter, and joy.

Many of you may recognize the amazing Dr. Carrie from her wonderful business in Leland, where she serves our community with compassion, healing, and heart. And Clinton? He brings the kind of smile and positive energy that lights up every room he walks into. Together, they are simply something special. ✨

Watching these two celebrate alongside family and friends was such a gift, and we are so thankful to have been a small part of their unforgettable day.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. 💍
We love you both so much and wish you a lifetime filled with happiness, adventure, and endless love. 🤍

Had to catalogue a perfect hike at Indian Lake State Park in the U.P.!
A great little two mile loop along the lake and then through gorgeous wetlands (bring your hiking boots) along a stream.

Gym Ball with @dr.carriesands resumes tomorrow!

Your first class is free.

A gym ball class, also known as an exercise ball or stability ball class, uses an inflated ball (like a Swiss ball or yoga ball) as a tool for exercise and movement. These classes incorporate the ball into various exercises to challenge core strength, balance, and flexibility. We hope you give it a try!

The holidays are a season of giving—but don’t forget to give to yourself too.

🎄💛✨

When you take time to care for your body, mind, and spirit, you show up as your best self for those you love.

☕ Fill your cup—literally and figuratively! Try one of these simple ways to restore your energy:
• Meditate 🧘‍♀️
• Go for a walk 🚶‍♂️
• Be creative 🎨
• Grab a coffee at @hive.coffee.co ☕
• Take a class with a LWC Member 💪🏻
• See a movie at the @baytheatremi 🎥
• Call a friend 📞
• Make time to play 🎭

Whether it’s a moment of stillness, movement, or connection, prioritize your well-being this season. It’s the most valuable gift you can give yourself and others.

Let’s navigate this season with intention, balance, and care. 🌟 #LeelanauWellnessCollective #HolidayWellness #SelfCareIsntSelfish

Wellness is multidimensional, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. There is also no magic pill. It takes dedication, discipline, and self-awareness to be well. A goal of the LWC is to be a resource and support to empower our community to be the best it can be.

We believe the body has innate intelligence, and as we remove the blocks, its self-regulating, self-healing ability can happen successfully.

Are you interested in learning more? We have an empowering event planned next week at the City Opera House. Comment below or send us a message for more details.
