Congratulations to my @unswmedicineandhealth Honours student Jessie Lu for getting her research project in Quality of Life Research.

In this study we developed utility weightings for facial #angiofibroma in tuberous sclerosis. This helps assess the impact angiofibroma have on quality of life and helps pave the way to establish the cost-effective of interventions for this condition

💫⭐️ What an incredible turnout for the Sydney Medical Students’ Skin Conference! ⭐️💫

Thank you so much to @suds_usyd , @wsudermsoc , @underm_soc and @uondermatologysociety for making this inaugural collaboration possible! We had a record 150 attendees this year across 5 different medical schools, organised by over 20 Dermsoc exec members. We also extend our thanks to @unswcritcaresoc for facilitating the suturing workshop, and our sponsors for making this effort possible.

A huge, huge thank you as well to all the doctors who gave up their time to give amazing lectures and run educational workshops on the day! It was insightful previewing the landscape of dermatological education, skin cancer management and common hospital presentations, as well as learning the basics behind cryotherapy, suturing and dermoscopy.
