This past month I had a few speaking engagements including the FCAAP (Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics) in Orlando at the @waltdisneyworld Yacht Club. I had the pleasure of chatting with pediatricians about updates in pediatric dentistry. A few weeks ago I visited Louisville, KY to speak at a conference for pediatric dentists and lectured about ankyloglossia/tongue tie and practice management. It was a professional bucket list item for me and I’m happy it was well received by my colleagues. #alwayslearning #pediatricdentist #bestjobever #toothfairy #dentista #lovemyjob #dentist #speaker

FAPD East Coast’s regional event was a success this evening. We had a local orthodontist, Dr. Ryan Schumacher, present on the needs of transforming a smile that has peg lateral incisors followed by a presentation of Kinder Krown restoration options. Following the presentations, we had a chance to practice prepping teeth for Kinder Krown zirconia restorations.

✨40 Under 40✨

What an incredible way to bring in year 35. I am so grateful for this honor from the National Dental Association highlighting excellence in community service, leadership and the field of dentistry.

I grew up attending the NDA dental conferences every summer as a kid with my dad. It was a special full circle moment coming back to receive this honor last night. It was such a great evening being among 40 of the brightest healthcare professionals and my fellow Spelman sister honorees!

I accept this award humbly and will use this as motivation to continue to push for increasing diversity in the dental field 💜 Thank you tremendously to the National Dental Association and my family for helping me celebrate this fantastic weekend 🥂
