‼️🧠 did you know that our film The Anthropologist was inspired by the true story of an anthropologist who came to study @sundaynightsalad in 2024? can’t wait to show you this film, a celebration of the talentless and prolific and exploration of chasing your dreams in Los Angeles. 📸 by @tiny.hangover & @kylebhart 🎨 by @yencestudio

hope you enjoyed that shoot day 10 photo dump (RIP CRAIG😢). The sad reality of staying in this mortal realm is that even after Craig’s untimely death we all have jobs we gotta go to, plants we gotta water and races we gotta run. Like our dear ALAN in the ANTHROPOLOGIST during this shoot day 11. Some backstory: Alan thinks winning a 2 mile race called the Silverlake Classic will impress his Olympian ex, Olive, enough to win her back. The results are well… one way to describe it would be “awkward.” And don’t worry @magdafying was there to document it all. @zen_daddy_westcoast actually ran in the Silverlake Classic irl to shoot this scene so all that sweat and tears after the race is in fact real. Marlon Brando eat your heart out w that method acting (RIP MARLON BRANDO btw, hope you’re having a cold one w Craig wherever you are). @gracehalpern plays Olive the muse sending our dear Alan out of control. @wesdunlap_images plays the most annoying foil to this plan Alan’s concocted by just being a smart, hunky supportive bro. @dr.ilbit shot @ this quirky race happening irl and made it all come together for some true cringe inducing comedy. That’s the risk you take for love, right Alan? “Better to have loved and lost…” @spencer.tuggle looked fly af while being our camcorder specialist onset. @dopelan please tell me how you also look so fly while doing a physically arduous job? @dory.logan again gets homie of the year award for all his dedication to this film. Oh sorry @natashamindling is telling us we gotta wrap this up bc there’s a speech @ the @nike tent. <—- you’ll get this inside joke once you see the movie
