That shoulder “pop” is not always a sign that something is wrong. In many cases, the sensation and temporary relief that follows can be explained by changes in joint pressure, tissue movement, and the nervous system rather than something being “put back in place.” The important question is not whether your shoulder is noisy, but how it feels, moves, and performs.

A perceived plateau is not always a true lack of progress. Body weight can be obscured by hydration, digestion, sodium, stress, sleep, travel, and meal timing, while strength and performance changes become smaller and harder to notice as you become more advanced. For busy professionals, that variability is part of the equation. The goal is not to react to every stagnant weigh in or average training session, but to keep executing the fundamentals, look at trends over a longer timeframe, and give meaningful change enough time to become measurable. Sometimes progress has not stopped, you just need to zoom out far enough to see it.

@_brianna.eve makes her return to the @wnbfcalgary stage this weekend. The last time she was here she walked away with dual professional status and the professional title for herself. She’s looking for a repeat before a final sprint to @wnbfworlds in a few short weeks.

She has battled rebuilding a world class physique following surgery that left her sidelined and out of the gym for nearly a year, mixed in with other various injuries we’ve managed along the way - yet is bringing an improved physique to the stage.

She’s a testament to grit and perseverance, and has all the potential in the world. Job’s not done, but we kick things off in a short few days!

We finally made our way back to the prestigious Mr. America stage. This time as a pro.

The main goal, of course, was to compete for the title. The secondary goal was to stand next to some of the best bodybuilders in the world and get a better understanding of where I land.

There’s a lot to learn from being around athletes of this caliber. Being able to observe and indirectly learn from them is something I don’t take for granted.

Although we didn’t make the first callout, the judges felt like what I presented was worthy of moving me up to 5th place. I also walked away with a lot of positive feedback from judges, athletes, and other observers of the show.

As far as the physique goes, we brought it. This was without a doubt my best package to date. There’s still plenty of room for improvement, but I’m proud of what we presented on stage.

Now we tighten things up and prepare for the main dish in November 🫡

THE FINAL PUSH

I'm not sure if it's right or wrong, healthy or unhealthy but from a very young age, I've always felt the need to prove myself to others & to prove myself to myself. I can recall since high school having the feeling of wanting to be great at something. Back then, it was becoming a state champion at wrestling. In retrospect, that goal was completely delusional. I had not had enough mat time, to acquire & practice the level of technique to accomplish this. Not too mention, at that age, I didn't have the physical or mental toughness needed to get the job done.

Currently, my pursuit lies within natural bodybuilding. Specially, my comparisons focus on the elite lightweights of the community. My goal is to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world & look like I belong. Am I delusional again? I believe that I am not. Greatness aside, I realize that I have a golden opportunity in front of me. An opportunity to do something special. I don't know how it will all shake out, but one thing I do know ... I will give it absolutely everything I have & in the aftermath have zero regrets. 2 weeks out & in 5 weeks this season will be over. The time is now ... LFG!

Having back-to-back shows these last couple of weeks has been both intense and a lot of fun. Finally getting around to uploading some stage photos.

Between my wife perfecting her tanning skills and my coach landing the plane, we managed to take home the overall at the NPC Texas Natural.

More importantly, we accomplished what we came to do, which was qualify for the Ben Weider Naturals in November.

I also got to meet some really great athletes with incredible potential. The production team was on point, the athletes were well taken care of, and the entire experience was a great one.

Grateful for the people in my corner and the opportunity to keep doing something I genuinely love.

We often avoid discomfort before giving ourselves the chance to see what we are capable of. That applies in rehab, training, and life. You do not need to be reckless, but you also do not need to retreat at the first sign of difficulty. Sometimes progress starts by leaning into discomfort just enough to learn that you can handle more than you thought.
