Meet the founder of Revitalize Recovery, Dr. Jenny Ochoa! 🧡 From being a Division I athlete to a personal trainer and now a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Dr. Jenny brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to movement, injury recovery, and performance. Right out of physical therapy school, she knew she wanted to build a practice of her own — one where patients came first and where she could provide the kind of care she felt was missing from traditional physical therapy. At Revitalize Recovery, Dr. Jenny goes beyond simply treating an injury. She takes the time to understand the why behind your pain, fills in the gaps where traditional PT may fall short, and creates a personalized experience designed to help you not only heal, but come back stronger, more confident, and more capable than before. Her goal is simple: help you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love. Ready to start your recovery? Adolescent thrower. Extension-based low back pain. You’ve got 30 minutes to decide the diagnosis, and 30 minutes to manage it properly. Our best individual “rule out” tests are mediocre at best. And clustering them? It doesn’t get any better. Ruling in though? Stack the right findings together and your specificity goes up and up. There’s no one best test. Good specificity comes with poor sensitivity and vice versa. You need combinations to move the needle. In athletic LBP, an accurate diagnosis matters. When in doubt, it’s a bone stress injury until proven otherwise, especially in your adolescent athletes. Want to actually build the RTS framework for this population? 📍 Boise, ID with Rock & Armor PT | Sept 19–20 Early bird ends 8/20 → code EARLYBIRDID for $100 off 📍 Culver City, CA with Prehab PT | Oct 3–4 Early bird ends 9/4 → code EARLYBIRDLA for $100 off Triple dip on CEUs at both: 15 PT/PTA, 15 AT, and 15 NSCA (CSCS). Transverse process fractures are not pedicle/pars fractures. RTS timelines are generally quicker, but if not managed properly, they can turn into significant time loss injuries. Regardless, the general principles of treating transverse process fractures remains the same. Calm shit down. Build shit back up. Come learn the intricacies of rehabbing athletes from the table back to performance in our September course. Boise, Sept 19-20.
