As educators, we are life long learners. Some of this learning comes from attending conferences. But choosing the right conference that fills your cup and sends you home with resources and something to think about is hard to find! Kudos to the team at the Humanizing Education Conference at Lewis University in partnership with the Center for Success and through the support of many donors! Missed this one? Not to worry! Check out the last picture for another chance to gather!

Thanks to all who came to our event last night! A big thanks to our public librarian, Nicole Lawton, who brought books for us to look at and some to keep! And thank you to our NCC librarian, Laura, for curating our resources on this topic at the Tyson Center! EdRising did a great job with activities and we love to partner with you! Thanks Dr. Shah for sharing a bit about the true history of this holiday! Join us next time for an author visit at Cowlishaw Elementary on December 4th!
