Hey golf lovers! We have had A LOT of new followers over the past few months so I wanted to pop on here to re-introduce myself! My name is Kristen Bunn and I am the founder of Fore Chicks, a women’s golf apparel brand based out of Paris and Burlington, ON. I am 29 years old and started this brand just over 3 years ago. ❤️What started out as a golf apparel brand, quickly evolved into a community and an expansion of hosting women’s golf leagues (shoutout to albatross.indoor.golf.centre and @centurypinesgolfclub for making this happen!) I started golfing the summer of 2020 and quickly became OBSESSED with golf! ⛳️ I truly got hooked after sinking my first ever eagle from about 15 feet away (photo #4 of proud little me.) I fell in love with the game, but I didn’t love the clothing options for women… Fast forward to December 2021, I had the insane idea to start my own brand. After lots of research, designing and sample testing, I finally decided to take the leap and use my savings to launch Fore Chicks! We only had 5 items and I did some of my first sales out of the trunk of my car at my ladies league night— looking back it is crazy to think about. 🤣 From there I started to try out pop-up events at different league nights in my area (photo #5 of our first pop-up ever!) Sidenote: did you know Fore Chicks first official photoshoot was shot by yours truly with the help of friend @rachaellolua as the model? (photo 6 🤣) I am happy that Fore Chicks has grown enough that we could afford to hire a legit photographer 😅 Along the way I decided that golf needed less intimidating options for women to enter the sport- I started hosting women’s learn to golf events, golf hangouts and eventually evolved into running actual leagues! It has been amazing watching this community grow and making so many new friendships along the way! It has definitely been a slow burn as I still work a full time job outside of this but I am so proud of the progress! We have gotten into 20 pro shops across Canada this year alone and are hopeful to expand even more for 2026! For those who have been here from the start, THANK YOU! WOW! And just like that, we’re celebrating THREE incredible years of Fore Chicks! 🎉 Three years ago, I never could have imagined we’d be here. What started as a handful of polo designs just to see if people would like them has grown into something so much bigger: annual spring and fall collections, 18 pro shops carrying Fore Chicks for the 2025 season (with many returning buyers!!!), running women’s golf leagues, and completing close to 100 pop-up events and counting. It’s been a wild ride! It’s been incredible to watch my brand grow organically—so much so that now, when I’m out on the course, I see strangers wearing my gear, and it hits me: this is real. This brand, this community, has come so far, and I’m beyond proud of it. For those who don’t know, Fore Chicks is still my “side hustle” (I work full-time in another role), but my dream is to make this my full-time gig in the next few years. This year, we’re leveling up—bringing on some extra help to take the business to the next stage. Stay tuned… there’s so much more to come! But most importantly, I want to thank YOU—every single person who’s been a part of this journey. From all the friendships I’ve made to seeing so many others bloom within this community, my heart is so full. 💕It’s because of you that we have created the most BADASS women’s golf community around.
