ACL RETURN-TO-SPORT PROGRESSIONS

During ACLR rehabilitation at SFRT, we assess a patient’s ability to demonstrate strength, endurance, mobility, and movement quality across multiple planes of motion before progressing them back to sport. The following tests are among those incorporated into our clinical practice as physical therapists to help assess a patient’s readiness to safely return to the court or field.

Testing
Quadriceps Isometric Strength
Hamstring Isometric Strength
Single-Leg Hop Test
Y-Balance Test
45° Single-Leg Squat Test
Running Mechanics Assessment

** This is not an all encompassing return to play protocol. A few movement tests are depicted based on patient’s skill level at this time****

Benita and Ramsha are breaking down why Carrie’s method and physical therapy go hand in hand, and it makes so much sense.

Both are orthopedic physical therapists, and the overlap between what they do in the clinic and what happens on the Transformer is real. Core foundation, strength, recovery. Same principles, different room.

✨ Part one of a series. Stay tuned.

Truly my favorite combo 🤭

I’ve opened up a little more availability this month since it’s one of our busiest times of the year, and I’ve had so many requests for additional spots. I have a few openings next Friday, April 17th and I also have a few spots left Saturday May 9th, which is already filling quickly.

If you’ve been hoping to get in on a Friday or Saturday, this is your chance to make it happen👏🏼

Booking link in bio, or text/call us to reserve your appointment at 940-240-1257✨

41-50 days of fits.

I realized I miscounted and counted 42 twice. I’m too lazy to fix it so we’re just gonna roll with the extra one. Crossing boarders with this one, Japan -> Hawaii -> new job in Dallas #mensfashion #mensstyle #outfitinspo #fitcheck #ootd
