I came for the books. The good company was a bonus. 📚💚

Such a pleasure connecting with @dr.violalanier and @abettertodaybookstore! Books have a beautiful way of bringing us into rooms with people we’re glad we met.

And yes, I found a few things to take home. Supporting bookish businesses is my kind of shopping. 💅🏾🛍️

#ad Looking for a spooky night out near Atlanta? 👻

A Better Today Books & Boutique in Marietta is so much more than a bookstore! Part bookstore, part art café, it’s the perfect place to get creative, unwind, and spend a cozy evening.

I went back for their fall-themed costume and craft social night, where everyone dressed up, sipped wine, and worked on their own creative projects. 🍷🎨

I tried watercolor painting for the first time, and my kit came with everything I needed, including practice pages to experiment with different techniques before starting my actual painting. And if you’re a slow painter like me, they’ll even package up your supplies so you can finish your masterpiece at home!

Beyond the crafts, you’ll also find a whimsical children’s room, a bookmark charm bar, a self-serve tea station, and a thoughtful gift shop with gifts designed specifically for cancer survivors. They also host regular craft nights, social events, and other community gatherings, so every visit offers something different.

Whether you’re looking for a unique date night, a girls’ night out, a creative fall activity, or a new way to meet people around Atlanta, add this Marietta gem to your list! 🖤

Dressing up out of character can be a fun, low-pressure way to take the edge off and simply have fun as adults. And October is the perfect month to do so🎃
THIS year at the bookstore, we’ll be sipping, creating, and singing (if you’re bold) while exploring our new and enhanced Art Café menu offerings served on cafe dish-ware🍽️.
Join us this Friday 🍁🎨🖌️
Costumes welcomed but not required.

Good people really do come to bookstores. And Honestly, the sweetest part of our little bookshop has much to do with the people who walk through the door and make this place feel so special 💚

Honestly, one of the most beautiful things that our world is witnessing right now is people showing up to be still and/or slow in nature, studios, and even homes for the purpose of checking-in with themselves, improving themselves, connecting with themselves, holding space for others, and nurturing themselves.

🟤And as the owner of a wellness studio, I get to watch this beautiful-ness happen up close. Our ancestors were familiar with it, and we are making it clear that it is a familiarity.

People are elevating the importance of being present in these spaces and are showing it off proudly.
I love ❤️ this for us✨
This is the wellness revolution that we need. ~ Dr. Viola

It’s kind of like being at sleepaway camp… but this time it’s just for grown women who have full lives and could honestly use a true getaway for one night.

It’s our indoor “Glamping” experience where women experience a candlelit dinner, a styled teepee, slumber party games, happy hour bites, wine, a creative arts activity, a wellness focused gift bag, a sunrise sound bath the next morning and more.
It is truly a chance to step away (while still being local) for one night, be around other women, laughing, talking, receiving, resting (yes we have an appointed time to rest 🙂) and letting somebody else take care of the details.

We have our Fall Escape🍁 themed Glamping experience next month. If you want to be sent the flyer details feel free to DM us✨
