Still on a runner’s high! 🏃🏾‍♀️✨ I’m officially a half marathoner! Woohoo! 13.1 miles complete.

The same girl who once couldn’t run 3 miles in an hour just ran 13.1 miles. Let this be a reminder to never underestimate what your body is capable of when you stay consistent, trust the process, and keep pushing.

Thank You, God, for giving me the strength to finish strong. Shoutout to my amazing friends and family, especially those who traveled by train and bus to cheer me on! Thank you to everyone who sent DMs, words of encouragement, prayers, and positive energy. I truly felt the love and support.

It’s so wild to reflect on these past three years that I’m not sure I will ever have enough words to convey all of my emotions. Thank you to my coresidents for the countless memories, endless knowledge and heart to heart conversations. I’m honored to have grown beside all of you, both as a doctor and as a person. Thank you to my loved ones and friends for the support that has been there since day one. You all have kept me going when I was at my lowest and never stopped believing in me. One of the hardest goodbyes is definitely to my patients. Every one of them, whether I saw them monthly or twice a year, has taught me invaluable lessons that I will carry with me and you’ll always be in my heart. As someone who entered the medical field nearly a decade (!!!) ago, it has been the hardest yet most rewarding, humbling experience to finally achieve what I envisioned all those years ago. Here’s to my next journey into attending life!!! 💖
