A special shout to Denise Williams Watts 💜

When I started at Warner Records in the LA office in 2011, @thedw was the only Black Woman there. Our time working together proved that Black Women, can not only share spaces & similarities, but also uplift and support one another.

From 2011-2015 we built a bond, that made the workplace feel like home. You showed me what true sisterhood felt like and I am honored to have spoken on your behalf at the @blackwomenfilm Network Summit 🎞️

Shoutout to my sweet @atlfirefly for filming and getting us all dizzy 🥴🥴🥴 then demanding to do handstand in front of us as the new #30 and had a tude when no one had an extra 3 and 0 to swap out the marquee numbers. 👀 Dead serious. If you or your child is thinking about “Spelhouse” and is on the fence, SEND THEM!!! Yes this video is a representation of a good time, but means so much more. After almost 25 years we are still the same. HBCUs, give you a sense of self, community, networking, but most importantly everlasting, friendship, and bonds. You may not talk to these people every day, but when in need, you can call on them, and they always show up. This homecoming gave me life and filled my soul. It was the epitome of the word homecoming.

I was over the moon to celebrate my 25th anniversary DST 🔺🐘 with epic 29 Spring 98. We are officially old school 😳

I was also was humbled and honored to be amongst 20 of my amazing dynamic classmates to be a founding member of the Spelman Visionaries Endowded Scholarship.

I brought my kids on the yard because I needed for them to see that they too can do and be anything. Not to mention feel all this magic and energy
