@lumiere_noire_2026 I've known Montreal was home for a long time, but something about being in this magical place and running into *dozens* of friends and friendly aquaintances in every room just hits so hard. And the the whole vibe is so full of love. Can't touch it. Last 3 photos are stolen 😁 All jewellery by @hexedhavencreations @7nihilate 's hair by @effieartsofficial (mine too but it's too dark to see the blue) I made the fiberoptic jacket

Last set of photos from #Bolivia before it's time for #38c3. These are from a 3 day tour of the South-West of the country. It is an overwhelming amount of some of the most incredible landscapes in the world. #salardeuyuni, flamingo-covered lagoons of every imaginable color, deserts, volcanos, mountains, islands covered in strange plants, geysers, hot spring, weird conical mountains and alien shit. It really is the mist incredible place in the world. Or guide, René, did a fantastic job. 1. Sunset at the place we spent the second night, Hotel Ecologico de Piedra. It had a hot spring from which you could look at the stars or watch the sunrise. 2. Salar de Uyuni 3. Laguna Colorada 4 & 5.Desierto Salvador Dali 6. Geysers at Sol de Mañana

TW: body image, weight loss OK I know talking about weight loss online is pretty unhealthy for everyone, and I know everything about how destructive our cultural obsession with dieting is. I know that even the popular BMI tables recommend weights that are quite a bit under the ones that are actually the healthiest (turns out you have the highest life expectancy at what is in western culture described as the border of "normal" and "overweight" - who would have thought 🙄. Incidentally that's exactly where I'm at now.) But still, I am really happy that after many failed attempts I managed to lose the weight I wanted to lose. There are lots of factors here, and most of them are inseparable from how society treats you. It may not be true for everyone, but I had a lot more trouble getting people to hear what I have to say when I weighed 15kgs more. Then there's health - I was severely insulin resistant and headed for diabetes. This also means the weight was hard to budge and it wouldn't have worked without a very large daily dose of metformin. And even metformin alone wasn't working, I had to go keto for months. Turns out a lot of my identity has to do with looks and image. There's something @ditavonteese wrote once upon a time, about "beauty of the created kind" - she wasn't considered beautiful growing up, but she crafted her image, and now she is. I wasn't either. There's a feeling of control that comes from the fact that you can make society think you're beautiful with - in our case - hair dye and brow tint, because at the end of the day there's nothing objective about beauty. You're hacking social norms. It's powerful. If you're crafting an image to one you're comfortable with, that has a deep effect on your mental health. I don't want to diminish body dysmorphia, and certainly don't want to compare myself to much greater struggles faced by our transgender friends, but the way I can relate is that it's easier to breathe when I look like I see myself, or want to see myself. That includes clothing too. It's dark and powerful, or it's uncomfortable. I need to feel dark and powerful. And as a tiny woman that might just take leather, spikes, and beauty.

W ogniu kampanii czasem nie starcza czasu, żeby spojrzeć wstecz. Warto jednak przypomnieć sobie, co nam się udało, żeby dodać sobie sił do jeszcze większego wysiłku na finale. Dzięki @bartku i @fot.majewski możecie wspominać z nami. 😀 #lewicarazem #konwencjalewicy #kampaniawyborcza #wyboryeuropejskie #wybory2019
