📣SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT📣

Brighton’s Quaking Aspens (@quakingaspensmusic) bring their dreamy, shoegaze-infused alt-rock to The Hope & Ruin.

Quaking Aspens are an ethereal dream-rock outfit carving their name into Brighton’s vibrant music scene. Born out of a shared yearning for connection, Quaking Aspens’ lush collision of electric guitars and intricately layered vocals weave a visceral tapestry, reaching through the veil and exploring the magic within the darkness.

“A lush, shoegaze-influenced offering anchored by lyrical depth and immersive atmospherics” — Earmilk.

+ Support from Winnipeg, MN + Drainfly 🖤

We raised £191.24 for @medicalaidpal last Wednesday at @daltonsbrighton 🖤

Massive thank you to all the bands that took part. so sick to see some new bands coming down to the coast! If you haven’t already, go check out London’s @emilyvolt.music and @drainflyband and catch em at their next show. And a huge thanks to Brighton’s very own @fatecrimes, who played an absolute blinder and were so much fun. If you haven’t seen em, you’re seriously missing out

Huge thanks to @skysongaudio for doing an incredible job on sound and lights, as always. We’re so lucky to have you. And @kimburfie for taking donations from the crowd during @fatecrimes (shout out to whoever bumped us a £30 donation!!)

Lastly ty to @daltonsbrighton for always being so warm and welcoming, @hybrideyes_photography for taking these beautiful shots, and everyone who bought a ticket and helped us raise funds towards urgently needed medical relief 🍉

Keep showing up. It’s one of the easiest ways to support the cause, while also supporting the brilliant artists who give their time to these shows 🖤

We’ll catch you on 23rd September for our next show, with the hottest lineup ever..
