HOT TAKE:
In your 20s, everyone tells you to get married, pick out the big ring, plan the dream wedding…
But nobody tells you this part: don’t rush it.
Your 20s are the decade where you finally meet yourself.
You learn your passions, your triggers, your boundaries, your dreams. You learn your traumas, your fears, your nervous system.
You build your identity, your confidence, your creativity, your purpose.
As an artist and designer, the most important relationship I ever built was the one with myself and the one with God.
Life is long. Marriage is hard.
Partnership requires clarity, emotional maturity, and choosing someone who aligns with the life you’re actively building, not the life people expect you to build.
Spend time becoming the person you’re proud to bring into a future relationship.
Fall in love with your own story first…
Then choose a partner who celebrates the masterpiece you’ve created within yourself.

Dancing, meditating, praying, and yoga in my backyard cocoon… that’s how my weekend began, and that’s how it’s still going. This is a ritual I practice on a nightly basis, I just don’t typically share it on social. I find this part of my day to be private and I enjoy it off camera, but on Friday, as I was vibing in my gallery, my friend started to film me and I stopped him because I like to keep that part of my energy for my immediate circle but I thought to myself, you know, this is something EVERYONE should do when they need a pick me up, so I’m sharing. This weekend, I let go of my mom guilt and instead of going to Deal to see my kids I stayed home for some much needed self care. Since coming home from Italy, I’ve been on speed 1000. I’m heading to Bali for a month with my kids in 2 weeks and I have an INSANE amount of work to do before then. This week, although AMAZING in many ways, it was also a rough one physically and mentally in other ways. I had 3 photoshoots – again, they were AMAZING, but photoshoots are incredibly hard work and long days plus drowning in work as I prepare to launch tabletop + my usual painting. I also had a situation that I was excited about turn out not to be what I was expecting, and although I am momentarily disappointed, I am in fact proud of myself for acknowledging red flags early on and not ignoring them. This is a sign of growth for me. SO THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEMS THIS WEEK? JUST VIBE IT OUT AND PRACTICE GRATITUDE. Dance my big heart away, and focus on all the many blessings. The lessons I am sharing from this week: 1) do NOT let other people and their egos walk all over you and do NOT be afraid to speak up. No one else is going to speak up for you and it’s okay if that means you’ll have to face conflict. Continued in captions… #selfcare #selflove #rituals #meditation #danceparty

Happy Mother’s Day to all! Being a mom is the biggest gift and blessing I ever could’ve imagined. Miro and Nora are the source of all my love, strength, and motivation. They push me to be the best version of myself so I can teach them what it means to be a strong and kind person. They keep me grounded and teach me every day - patience, compassion, unconditional love, stability - everything I’ve ever needed in my life. I am also extremely blessed to have my mom - though we definitely don’t always see eye to eye, she is a pillar of strength and support in my life, a true mama bear who will do anything for her kids and grandkids.
And to all the incredible women who surround my life who are also mothers - thank you for all the inspiration and support you bring into my life. I couldn’t survive without your friendships.
Today, I am thinking of all the moms who lost their babies this year, the moms who are without their kids, either killed or held hostage. May Hashem give them strength and bring forward miracles. #mothersday #godisgood
