Chiropractic gave us more than a career…it gave us a sisterhood. 🥹🤎

Before Dr. Jada moved from Kansas City, MISSOURI (heavy on the Missouri 😂) to Florida for chiropractic school, she realized she had never been to a chiropractor — and more importantly, had never seen a Black chiropractor.

So she reached out to Dr. Amber, who was finishing chiropractic school in Kansas City on the Kansas side 😂, to ask about her experience as a Black woman in chiropractic.

We met up, instantly clicked, and Dr. Amber gave Dr. Jada the confirmation she needed that she was stepping into the right profession — even if there weren’t many people who looked like us in it.

And right after that conversation, Dr. Amber gave Dr. Jada her very first chiropractic adjustment. 🥹

We’ve been locked in ever since.

From Dr. Amber’s graduation to Dr. Jada’s. From Dr. Amber’s grand opening in Maryland to Dr. Jada’s in Houston. One of us was on her way out of chiropractic school while the other was on her way in…and somehow, chiropractic gave us a best friend for life. 🤎

Now all these years later, we finally got to adjust each other again — and clearly Dr. Jada missed her favorite chiropractor because why did she literally JUMP on the table?! 😭😂

From that very first adjustment to this one.

Still locked in. Still rooting for each other. Still taking up space. 🥹🤎

My best friend. My sister. My chiropractor.

first and foremost, i want to give all thanks and praise to GOD. through it all, God never left my side.

immediately after that, i want to extend my utmost thank you and gratitude to my folks. this is OUR day, OUR moment & each of y’all know what this means for our family: more life, more joy, more LOVE, and new beginnings.

honestly, my emotions surpass any words i could ever say.

it took me nearly my entire life to find the courage to embrace every part of where i come from. my family’s story is filled with loss, hardship, addiction, poverty, incarceration, grief, resilience, and unconditional love. as messy and complex as it is, our story is beautiful.

because it’s real.

every piece of that story lives within these walls.

Yvonne Chiropractic was never created to be a traditional doctor’s office. it was created to break cycles, impact lives, and create change. every detail was designed with intention because healing should feel different.

it can feel like home.

it can feel like family.

it can feel like a hug.

“Yvonne”: a name of French origin, derived from the word for the “yew” tree, symbolizing resilience and transformation. the yew tree represents the cycles of life, death, and rebirth, embodying protection and spiritual strength; a nurturing, vibrant force of love and joy, known for her laughter, dancing, and knack for bringing people together.💐
