A lot to review , unpack , and find patient centered common ground that focuses on what women and doctors want to know when dealing with complex but highly relevant topics that are the most challenging discussions….

But doctors truly care and want to find a way forward in a world where we are lacking perfect studies and definitive guidance….

But this is vital medical care.
this is care that can transform patient outcomes.
We can do hard things.
And we are both dedicated to helping both doctors and women navigate things and make the decision that are best for their patients who are DESPERATE for care.

Stay tuned for so much more.
This work is so important, it’s important we get it right in a way that builds bridges and focuses on the patient experience.

And we need investment, we need to not vilify patients and doctors who want to talk about this, and we both know the future is really bright and hopeful.

We got this…
Follow along for more details on how we think about these issues.

Here’s our humble start trying to tackle it.

We should all remind ourselves to be humble to be curious and to keep on learning as doctors.

Now we are going to sleep because it’s been a really long day:)

Day 1 at my 2nd Menopause Society Annual Meeting in San Diego and I’m SO energized.

I’m one of about 6 physical therapists here among roughly 2,500 attendees. Small but mighty. And exercise came up in nearly every lifestyle medicine conversation on Day 1.

The evidence is clear. The prescription is clear. The questions from the room were about the HOW: time, capacity, and real-life barriers.

That’s exactly where physical therapists come in.

We turn the prescription into a plan that fits her life, her body, and her pelvic floor.

@official_apta @aptapelvic @menopause_society, let’s keep building these bridges.

Lots to discuss from today, but let’s start off with the foundational things we all need.

Great seeing my friend medical oncologist friends @dramycomander
