What if we let the season choose?

I love a plan. I love a moodboard. I absolutely want to know the flowers you’ve always imagined.

But flowers are living things.

Sometimes the most beautiful stem arrives in a colour we hadn’t planned for. A variety is particularly wonderful that week. Something catches my eye that I simply have to bring with me.

Quite often, those are the flowers that make everything else sing.

There’s something rather lovely about leaving a little space for that.

Trust your florist.

Trust the season.

Why not let nature have a tiny bit of creative freedom too.

I’ve never been particularly interested in putting flowers somewhere simply because that’s where flowers usually go.

So we looked up.

Hundreds of stems. Suspended individually, by hand, to create a chandelier made entirely from flowers.

Floristry, with a little engineering thrown in.

Proof that sometimes the most interesting part of a room isn’t on the table at all.

Back at Kin House earlier this year with all the pinks, lilacs and whites.
Bowl arrangements, little bud vases, candlelight and an entire floral meadow running along the front of the table ✨

we’re excited to be heading back to Kin House for another wedding here next year. 2027 is already looking VERY good 🌸

Recently watched @practicalmagic2 so it seems fitting to show you this party room transformation brought to life by @yolkproductions and @drap.d_

We love autumn weddings, and all the gorgeous layers that come with them.

For this design, we brought together warm blush and rust florals, deep burgundy napkins, textured linens and gold tableware, with candlelight adding warmth throughout the Findon Place ballroom.

The overhead floral installation and soft draping brought another dimension to the space, while the smaller details, from the hand-torn menus to the delicate bud vases, made the tables feel considered without being overly formal.

A lovely example of how a richer autumn colour palette can still feel soft, romantic and inviting.
