Hello! Today is the last day for you to see my face in the shop until August 12th, if that’s something you’re into stop by today til 6! It’s also the last day to order online and have it shop out before the 12th, so if that’s something you’re into get those orders in before like 9pm EST to be safe!
The shop is open normal hours the rest of the week, (thanks @dreamygutss and Brian!) but will be closed NEXT Wednesday and Thursday (normal hours next Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Sorry for any inconvenience but I’m very excited to go on my family vacation and I promise when we get back we have all sorts of cool stuff happening! HOLD YER HORSES! Big ol announcement! If this is news to you, buckle up! Oboy’s been adapted to the (personal) silver screen, by yours truly. If you’ve been wondering why I haven’t been sharing much drawing, I think it’s because tv’s been on the mind… Oh, and school sux. I’ll be drawing again soon, but I’ve been working on this project for over a year now, and am super excited to share it. A lot of energy went in to this bad boy, and I had a lot of help from a lot of amazing people. It’s a passion project, but also a sort of proof-of-concept, and I dunno… if you know anyone at FX, hit me up. (Six seasons and a movie?) And everybody’s in it! One of my best buddies in the whole world, who I wouldn’t make a stupid movie without, @valantynland and music by my other best pal, @enviro.nment . Starring @granny_mcgurk and even a little cameo from @m.s.harkness

I’ll be sharing this online really soon for everyone to see, so stay tuned, but for those in Columbus, I am having a screening really soon and I hope you can all be there. @mrcplcraig and I will be doing a double feature together with mc @drawbhell , on this date: SATURDAY JUNE 6TH 7-10PM @ CCAD. Flyer with more info to come soon, but mark your calendars!

At last, And Up!, They Sprung! has SPRUNG and what a weekend @cakechicago and @skunkcabbagebooks

I am so tremendously grateful and I have so many thank you’s to give :)

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to come out to the And Up!, They Sprung! Launch party! I’ve been really blown away by the response and interest in this book, I gave it my all and I hope it resonates.

Thank you to @anatwocomics and @tea.ddie for sharing their amazing comics Girl Yaoi and Time Machine Manifesto! Two absolutely spectacular comics that everyone should check out!

Hot Commode-ity is here!
Now you too can finally join those of us who have been enlightened by the concepts presented between these 60 pages (counting the cover, the covers count as pages).
Your opportunity to meditate upon the observations no one else dared to think is now close at hand.
For darn near a decade people have wondered: What is Hot Commode-ity?
And I struggled to explain: “it’s a publication that is like, movie reviews, but like, all the movies have a common concept, and like, that concept is that a toilet is used for something other than going to the bathroom. Like, mostly it’s used as a weapon. That why we called this a ‘Porcelain Arsenal’”. And even with that explanation people would say “hurr durrhurr poops n pee!” because let’s face it; people are stupid. BUT NOT YOU!
No, you’re smart, you’re special. Know who else is smart and special? All the great people who did all the real work to make this book a reality. Like @fareldal who painted the cover, and @baloneyfeathers who painted a cozy diorama, and @rhiannonkagoe who also painted …. Ok so a lot of people painted pictures in this. Also people drew pictures, like @theramonvillalobos, @blazeycat, and @alvestagram. Plus there are full on paneled comics from people like @miles_macd , @mortcrimpjr , @grixlycola , @camdelrosario , and even @simonamroy . All throughout the book you’ll see work from @drawbhell and the person who made the whole thing into an actual book with pages and words and stuff to make the words look better and they even made drawings in it too, @xjosuecruz ! Blink and you’ll miss him but @gregandfake is in there somewhere, too. Did I forget anyone? That wouldn’t surprise me.
What about you? What do you need to do? You need to get a copy of this, that’s what you need to do!
How do you do that?
Believe in yourself, and you will achieve in yourself. I already believe in you, so you’re almost there!
And then, click a link to an online store? I’ll set up a big cartel shop, and some stores will get some, and people who worked on the book will have some. There’s ways,
we just need a little patience🎶
