So delighted to have The Barn Garden featured in the August edition of ‘The English Garden magazine. It’s been a garden that’s bought so much pleasure, transformed from a dishevelled space to a place which is calm and welcoming and filled with biodiversity. We were so fortunate and grateful to have a trusting client who embraced all our design ideas, from design concept all the way through to ongoing maintenance. It’s been such a joy to see the garden grow into maturity. So many people played a part in creating the garden, so huge thanks to: @trogers1962 @formplants @ctsplants @kelwaysplantslangport @_londonstone @brickworksvandemoortel @ateliervierkant @harrodhorticultural @ettapullinger @annamaudmanners @drawnthreads @susie_stubber @maxloup And particularly to @berrydown_gardens for nurturing the garden week in week out. A gardener who really cares shines through. Finally thank you to @carrielees.studio for the beautiful images! #theenglishgardenmagazine #hampshiregardendesign #hampshiregarden #englishcountrygarden #barngarden

Christmas wreath with variegated ilex the star of this year’s show. Variegated ilex has been a preoccupation over the past few weeks as we’ve been sourcing a significant piece for a garden that’s going to be built next year. The wreath is a mix of Ilex acquifolium Auriomarginata and Silver Queen from a friends garden and of course our regular native holly. Huge thanks to @longworthyflowers who hosted a merry band of petalling friends and shared the tricks of the trade. So much fun, laughter, Christmas music and concentration! Thank you x . . . . #christmaswreath #christmaswreaths #ilex #variegatedholly #silverqueen #christmas2022 #flowering #petalling #thepetals #happytimes
