My first test with gouache since childhood! 🎨
It was a real pleasure to get back to it, though I felt initially a little lost with this new medium. It took some courage to put the first strokes of paint and not judge myself. ♥️
Fun first! To free creativity.✨️

Ballpoint pen doodle of the Alps, drawn on a tiny Post-it.

Just a few quiet lines, trying to hold the weight and light of the mountains. Sometimes a small square of paper is enough for a whole landscape. 🏔️

I recently participated in @drawthealps ! It’s an art challenge with set reference photos from, of course, the alps. I used this to improve my gouache skills, and I’m pretty proud of my progress! This was a fun exercise to get better at light, and playing around with colour theory.

Bits of FEB.

I blew up one of my @drawthealps paintings into a giant poster and it turned out great, maybe one day I'll actually hang it on the wall - labrador for scale.

Silly Prince

Did a bit of gardening and got proper muddy and I could be gross and dishevelled in peace - It was divine.

The frogs came back to my garden pond to lay eggs.

Painted at least 3 paintings, one of them I am not willing to reveal yet.

Oh and I was on telly.

Lots of framing lately - just learning the basics, butchering plenty of mat board, and trying not to have any industrial accidents with my Stanley knife.
