What a ride. it’s been around a month since the season ended. First I wanna thank god, I would not be the player or person I am without him. Next I want to thank my family and friends for always pushing me to be better and always supporting me. My junior season I wanted to quit and wanted no part of college athletics. I decided to push through and just play. I thank my Mom, Dad, and Uncle Deano for helping me through all of that, inspiring me and pushing me and to be in the situation I am now, I can’t thank you guys enough. I thank Coach Scaff and my other Blitz coaches for helping me fall in love with football even more and being some of the best coaches. I thank @savon_carter15 @coachchris_morgan and @bitethedust97 for being amazing coaches even in another sport and supporting my football journey. I also want to give a huge thanks to @kylehighradio for creating the infamous “DODERO - ERO” It still gets said in halls at school and i always looked forward to hearing you say my name during games. I also thank @jugsgym for pushing me to be the best athlete possible and being an amazing mentor as I look up to be like you one day. I thank all of my Blitz teammates and High School teammates, All of yall are my brothers for life and our memories will be forever. I thank all of the coaches that have recruited me so far and have made an impact on my life, I always dreamed about getting the opportunity to play in college but never thought I would get it. I never thought of the day I played my last High School game would happen but it really flew bye. Ending with the second best record in school history was amazing and i’m truly blessed to be in the situation I am in. Until next time 11 OUT🫶

In a 4A North2 clash of heavyweights, Riverdale Ridge (9-0) upset Broomfield (7-2) 16–13, to win the conference and make history on their home field.

With under 2 minutes left, the Ravens forced a critical fumble, giving Weeks and the offense life. He drove Riverdale Ridge inside the 5, but after a penalty and an injury, Weeks left the game. Ball on the 1-yard line. 12 seconds left. Season in the balance.

Enter backup QB Landon Banks (’26) — and he DELIVERS. Game-winning TD to Roman Garcia.
