I actually teared up in the exam room

Today the vet measured the muscle mass in Maxine’s front legs, the exact spot where her arthritis hit hardest. And after a year of hard work and rehab, she’s regained significant muscle mass due to increased mobility.

A few years ago, her vet told us Maxine’s osteoarthritis had become severe. We’d already done years of rehab, supplements, everything. So I audited it all…what was working, what wasn’t. We added more strength training, hydrotherapy and laser therapy. Then I cut the supplements that I discovered weren’t actually doing anything and I started working with some of the best vets in the world to formulate better joint supplements, built on real science, that could help not just my dog, but any dog dealing with joint discomfort.

Every single week since, we’ve fought to reduce Maxine’s joint pain and inflammation with rigorous weight management, at-home strength exercises, hydrotherapy, red light therapy, PEMF, and the new joint supplement regimen we formulated. Some weeks were good. Some broke my heart.

But now we have proof. Real, measurable proof that what we’re doing is working. We’re slowing the degeneration of her joints. Maxine has less pain, more mobility, more muscle, and more comfort than she had a year ago.

If you’re in the thick of it with your own senior pup, this is your sign to keep going.

Keep showing up. Keep asking questions. Advocate for your baby.

To the veterinarians and scientists who have taken the best care of Maxine, and who taught me how to take better care of her myself, this joy belongs to you too.

Love,
Maxine’s Dad
