After that, you’ll receive an age appropriate book mailed to you every month until your 5th birthday. It’s limited to 100 participants. Online registration begins in September.

Should you simply “wait it out”? If your gut says no, keep looking for answers.

Things we do not recommend “waiting it out” for in your baby:
✨ Head shape concerns
✨ Excessive fussiness
✨ Constipation
✨ Latch or feeding challenges
✨ Delayed or missed milestones
✨ Poor eye tracking (past 3 months)

While some of these concerns can appear to improve over time, that improvement can sometimes happen through compensation rather than true healing or development. The body is incredibly adaptable, but early support often leads to easier, quicker and more complete changes.

Chiropractic care for babies is gentle, specific and focused on supporting the nervous system so the brain and body can communicate and function at their best.

You don’t need to “just wait and see” when something feels off. Early support matters and trusting your instincts matters too.

What if you already have everything you need to be well?

Not in a “just think positive” kind of way. Not in a “you don’t need support” kind of way.

Imagine homeschooling in a school! How fun! The use of a full size gym, tons of outdoor space to run around on. Even a zip line. And the opportunity to expand community more, with possible homeschool co-ops and opportunities for other people to also access the gym and for larger groups of kids to play together.

I feel like in this modern time there is an assumption that community simply happens. And somehow also like in person community has never been more challenging to achieve in a meaningful way. It can be a long drive in traffic just to see a friend and somehow so many friends seem only to have time a few times a year to actually get together..

I think we can all acknowledge as much as we’d like the chance to raise our kids in the 90’s too, this simply isn’t that time. Things have changed and isolation has increased for many.

What this means is that we need to get more intentional and be willing to work a little harder to create community that fills us up. That lights us up. We need to seize our chances and be open to unique opportunities.

I love this story shared by @dena.rae.g - it’s such a powerful example of forging meaningful friendships and being willing to be a little out of the box.

She bought a school?! Wait what?!

Podcast episodes are back after a short 2 week pause and this is a good one! Caitlin sits down with @dena.rae.g to talk all about community building in real life and online.

Dena and her family chose to embrace a super unique opportunity to purchase and renovate a school with 2 other families. They will all live on the same property and do life together in community.

The modern village is about choosing who we do life with and then facilitating geographical closeness and learning to repair and learning to communicate better. Learning to love better (in the human or sisterhood sense).

Maybe you get a house in the same neighborhood as your bestie or maybe you buy a school! 🤷🏻‍♀️🌻

We are not meant to do life or motherhood alone and isolated. We need the village and the village can look different than it did 100 or even 35 years ago.

Did you know that the tongue starts practicing swallowing and moving at 15 weeks in utero?!

This means that even if you opt for the release in oral ties, there is actually a significant amount of retraining needed..

And, what if the tension in the mouth is made worse and impacted by tension in the body? Bodywork!

Because yes, babies can have tension even if it looks and feels different than adult tension.

The takeaway- get support right away (and the best support does not always come in the hospital- they just don’t have the time).

Life is so beautifully complex and I love how there are so many different ways we can support ourselves and our children.

@brittany.demarcke goes into what is a tongue tie, that there are different types of ties, how they form, what they affect and how to support your baby!

I personally loved this episode so much - this is information every parent needs!

And, we learn about the adaptations the body accomplishes - how it affects a child symptom wise and what the purpose is (keeps your airway open)!

Picky eating? It could be an adaptation to prevent choking in children with ties.
