“But I see 20/20, so my eyes are fine.” 👀 . Your retina would beg to differ! . Seeing 20/20 doesn’t always mean your eyes are healthy. In fact, many eye diseases can be present and only show clinical signs before you have any changes to your vision (IF you even have any symptoms!). Many people don’t even have any visual changes or symptoms! That’s why annual comprehensive eye exams are important! If you haven’t seen your eye doctor yet this year, this is your reminder to schedule that appointment! . . . . #optometry #optometrist #eyedoctor #eyehealth #doctorhumor

@franzpodcast S4 E15: Fact or Vision with Dr. Jennifer Chinn (@dr.chinnchinn) — On Digital Eye Strain, Carrots, and Blue Light Glasses 👁️ Vision is often described as our most dominant sense, but how often do we actually think about how it works? The sense of sight is a complex collaboration between the eyes, optic nerves, and brain, translating light into perception, depth, color, and meaning. It allows us to view the world around us and form images of our deepest memories. But what does it really mean to “see well,” and how can we protect one of our most powerful connections to the world? Do blue light glasses work, or are they just a marketing ploy? And the age-old question: Do carrots actually improve our eyesight? So 2026 is the new 2016 eh? Well 2016 was full of fun with some of my best friends and tons of travel. From Japan to Iceland it was one of the most exciting and memorable years. It was also my second year practicing as an Optometrist, working at 5 different practices, 7 days a week. Sometimes 2 practices in one day to fund all the fun adventures of the year. Cheers to 2026 and hopefully a year of more travel (for fun!) and time spent with my people 🫶🏼💕 #2026isthenew2016 #travelgram #optometry #optometrist
