Your kid doesn’t need you to agree with them. They need you to show them what happens when you don’t!

Dr. Tanya Cotler breaks down why forcing “everything has to be one way” actually works against connection, and what it looks like to hold a boundary while still staying warm.🤝

This is one of those conversations that reframes something you’ve probably been doing on autopilot! In case you missed it, my episode with @drcotler is up now!

Anyone else feel like they need a parenting handbook just to keep up with what’s “right” anymore? 🙋‍♀️

This week I’m revisiting my conversation with @drcotler to talk about what actually got lost in translation. Boundaries. The fact that you matter too. The idea that connection can survive disagreement.

We got into the lasagna standoff at my dinner table, the schoolyard sprint that made me feel completely powerless, and why “natural consequences” almost never means what people think it means.

This week’s episode with @drcotler is out now!🥰

“Natural consequences” gets thrown around a lot by people who don’t actually know what it means. 💭

Dr. Tanya Cotler explains why taking away the iPad tomorrow doesn’t teach your kid anything about today, and what an actual natural consequence looks like instead.

If you’ve ever handed out a punishment and wondered if it even landed, this is for you. New episode with @drcotler is out now!

Every parent has had that split second where your body reacts before your brain catches up, and I know most mom’s can understand this feeling! 🤍

Dr. Tanya Cotler and I are talking about the moment she witnessed a stroller almost roll into traffic during a toddler meltdown. Mom caught it thankfully, but that feeling doesn’t just disappear because everyone’s okay.

This one’s about the fear we carry as parents that nobody prepares us for. I’m revisiting this conversation with @drcotler this week, and I can’t wait for you to listen - it drops today!🎙️

Some of the best investments you’ll ever make have nothing to do with material things.

They have everything to do with the people, practices, and support systems that shape the quality of your life.

For me, these are five that have been worth every penny:

✨ A skilled therapist who helps you understand yourself and not just your symptoms. @drerabinow @steph_kinloch @drcotler
✨ A consistent meditation practice that teaches your nervous system how to slow down. @shantibyalexis
✨ A vibration plate (or PlateFit, if you’re local!) that supports movement, circulation, and overall wellness. @platefit @rachaelblumbergchiprut @matthew_j_day
✨ A trusted body worker who reminds you that stress doesn’t just live in your mind. It lives in your body, too. @therealteralis
✨ A knowledgeable financial strategist who helps you build security and confidence for the future.

My best friend and I, Dr. Tanya Cotler, finally sat down to record an episode on attachment theory.

We had rescheduled the conversation about five times because … life. But in the end, it happened exactly when it was meant to.

I was moving through something quite heavy and being able to speak openly under the umbrella of her expertise cracked my heart wide open.

This conversation moved me deeply and connected so many dots, I truly hope it does the same for you.
