Such an amazing time at the Human Health Services Administration Department (HHS) Summit yesterday! I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate and hear from some of the top medical professionals, including Secretary Xavier Becerra, Dr. Courtney Fitzhugh, who leads the haploidentical transplant protocol at NIH, and Dr. Andrew Campbell from Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., along with many other remarkable individuals from diverse backgrounds.

It was wonderful to see familiar faces like Wumni Barke, Christelle Solomon with the USCF, Kayla aka Nova’s Auntie, Dr. Titi, Ashley Valentine from Sick Cells, Andre Smith and so many other passionate Sickle Cell advocates and Warriors.

I’m already looking forward to next year and am excited to see how the Human Health Services Administration Department (HHS) continues to support the Sickle Cell Community and how these impactful partnerships evolve with time.#hhssicklecelldiseasesummit #sicklecellawareness #sicklecellwarrior #sicklecelldisease
