Jumanji

Jumanji, one of the most unique—and dangerous—board games ever, falls into the hands of the curious teen, Alan Parrish, in 1969. Mysterious and magical, the game strands the unsuspecting boy in the lush, savage forests of a mythical realm. Nearly three decades later, the game releases him before the awed eyes of the young orphaned siblings, Judy and Peter Shepherd. Now, the wild and incessant beat of the jungle’s tribal drums is calling for the now-adult Alan and the other hesitant players, as the one who rolls the dice must never leave undone what the roll has started. Has anyone ever escaped from the game and Jumanji’s formidable foes?

Word of the day - Serendipity

Serendipity is the occurrence of fortunate, unexpected discoveries by chance, often described as a "happy accident"

Did you encounter a happy little accident?

Ryan Gosling stands out because of his ability to express deep emotion with minimal dialogue, often letting silence, glances, and subtle gestures carry entire scenes. He built his career on versatility—moving from quiet, melancholic roles like Drive and Blade Runner 2049 to heartfelt romance in La La Land and even sharp comedy in The Nice Guys and Barbie.

What makes Gosling unique is his restraint: he rarely overacts, instead creating characters that feel internal, almost distant, yet deeply human. Directors often trust him with long takes and quiet moments because he can hold attention without saying much. Off-screen, he’s known for being selective with roles, choosing projects that balance artistry and mainstream appeal.

At his best, Gosling represents a modern kind of movie star—someone who can be both emotionally fragile and effortlessly cool, often at the same time.

Is he the “he’s literally me” guy?
