summer book recommendations from my bookish friends ⋆❀🥥🌺🌊❀⋆

Hello, besties, and happy Thursday! 💛

I’m always sharing my own book recommendations with you, so for today’s post I wanted to try something a little different and let some of my bookish friends recommend their favorite summer reads instead.

I’m so honored to call these wonderful girls my friends, and the fact that they didn’t hesitate to help me with this post means the world to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🥹💌

I love this community so much and how it has allowed me to meet and connect with so many amazing people. I hope you find your next summer read here!

This post is brought to you by ✨vibes✨ and absolutely zero scientific research 😌

If you’re offended that I said dark fantasy readers smell like sweat and darkened eyes… respectfully… it’s because you do 🖤

Fantasy readers are genuinely their own species and I fully support that 🤭

Fantasy genres included:
🐉 Romantasy
☕ Cozy fantasy
🗡 Epic fantasy
📚 Dark academia
🌑 Dark fantasy
🕯 Gothic fantasy

Now I need to know:
What fantasy reader types should I do next? 👀

Disclaimer: These are JOKES. (Mostly). Tagged a few friends for ones I think you’d like 🤭🤭🤭
Thank you for being here ♥️

My book palette 📚🎨✨️

Another fun trend I've been seeing around booksta!! This was so hard to make, especially since I had to think of all the books I liked and match them to the colors in the palette. I did my best 😅

Tagged a few friends, but if you see this, consider yourself tagged too!! 🫶🏼

🩷 Do we have any favorites in common?

However, because it’s been a while, I wanted to re-introduce myself! here are 10 facts all about me 😜

2. i’m originally from the Midlands but I currently live in London as I am a musical theatre performer
3. My favourite animals are pigs. 🐷
4. If I had to choose a different job, I would either go into publishing or event planning.
5. I recently got diagnosed with coeliac disease.
6. My favourite time of year is Christmas but my favourite season is summer.
7. If I could have one on one chat with any dead celebrity it would be Robin Williams.
8. My favourite band in the world is The 1975.

Choosing just one favorite each month is so much harder than it looks 😅 but here we are. These are my top picks so far!

Do you see any of your own favorites here? And what was your favorite read of August? 📚✨

I feel like I’ve been way harsher with my ratings lately 👀 How do you usually rate your books, strict stars, pure vibes, or somewhere in between? 🌙

Tagged a few people that might like to do this trend💖 My favourite book of each month so far

📚Which book would you take a 1⭐ review for it personally?🤭

I was actually surprised to find that most my favorite reads don't have 1 star reviews, so these are the ones I found 🤭
