CONSIDER COMBINING ENTHEOGENS WITH YOUR MEDITATION PRACTICE, including marijuana and other psychedelics. APPLICATION - Start with microdoses of an entheogen you've already used. For larger doses have a sitter and incorporate safe "set & setting" rules. - Detailed practice suggestions: Psychedelic Buddhism, Lama Mike Crowley (2023). HOW - Compass (psychedelics, insight/direction) vs Vehicle (sustained movement via meditation). - Biggest problem with a meditation practice is maintaining it. - Psychedelics have been shown to motivate and jumpstart meditation practices. FINDINGS - Studies show psychedelics have more dramatic but shorter-lived effects. - Meditation is effective for sustaining therapeutic change. - Combining a meditative practice with psychedelic results in significant improvements across many key outcomes. - The magnitude of mystical-type experience during the acute psychedelic experience appears to be a key predictor of sustained positive changes in psychological functioning. - Even relatively short-term Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy can safely produce rapid and sustained clinical benefits for severe and intractable psychological and behavioral disorders. MISUNDERSTANDING BY ORGANIZED RELIGION - The use of psychedelics in Buddhism is mistakenly seen as a violation of the fifth Prātimokṣa lay vow to abstain from intoxication. - It is likely early Christians and Hebrew ascetics, as well as ancient Hindus and Buddhists, ritually used plant-based psychedelics. IF you're interested in a more detailed summary plus citations for "Meditation and Psychedelics", a talk given at hELLO Temple during our Summer Soul beach throwdown last Summer, reach out. DO NOT RESPECT OUR AUTHORITAH - We are not experts in this newly emerging practice. We are informed and responsible Entheonauts like you being the change. - Do not conduct yourself in a manner that may place your civil liberties and safety at risk, including using controlled substances in your jurisdiction. SHARE FREELY Please attribute: hELLO Temple - bit.ly/hellotemple

EARTH MEDICINE SERIES, 2024 @ hELLO Temple Save the date: Sat. Jan 6, 2024 The first in a series on indigenous medicine and other practices to heal ourselves and the world. There will be a focus on Native American vision quest medicine. Attendees will not only learn about but practice this medicine. We will also be incorporating other indigenous and non-indigenous healing practices as well. Later in the series we will construct a prayer wheel and sweat lodge, and engage in a powerful beachside ceremony. The Lenape used to stop all wars to come to this beach to harvest clams. Many still feel a sacred presence here connected to them. The cleansing qualities of water, and the portal energy at hELLO Beach, will be a beautiful, sacred natural location for our work. Practitioners are invited to participate and share their practices as well during the course of the series. If there's interest, and weather permitting, we'd also like to sit for another CE5 alien contact meditation in the evening. I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you and I'd like to wish you a great rest of the year, a dope transition into the new one, and an even more transformational, healing and powerful 2024 🦊🙏🔥 [ i n v i t e o n l y ] - if I don't know you please introduce yourself 🤍 Join our Whatsapp group (link in bio): https://chat.whatsapp.com/E3eqdWfT1De26fMNx0tt4B IM me with practices you'd like to share or any other way you'd like to contribute: massages, reiki, alien-themed performances, $1M donations, free hugs, grandma's delish recipe etc. THANK YOU 🌈☀️🔥👽🤍

ALIEN CONTACT BEACH GATHERING hELLO Beach, NJ Sat. Evening 12/2 During this Great Awakening, something that takes us out of the illusion of our reality and reminds us of the real reason we're here will serve us well. The next CE5 gathering at hELLO Beach, NJ (turn hELLO upside down for the location) will be on Saturday December 2 through Sunday after midnight. Last time we had bad weather. This time our prayers will be heard for clear skies. By meditating together using an app-aided protocol called CE5, contact with inter-dimensional beings will reground us in wonder and love, and bring us closer to the message of peace they're sharing with us.
