Behind the dreams! Whilst the issue and the matter discussed in ‘I Got Work Tomorrow’ hits us hard as the cost of living is really impacting all of us. We had a beautiful time coming together to create such a special short poetic film.

Thanks again to the producers @yaeeshx & @m.musecreates this couldn’t have happened without all of your hard work, the cast and all the crew involved.

Big up the boss @filmby.tyler for capturing the essence of the vision and @shotbyfrederick for the magical moments in black and white.

Big love to @carm_band and @t.r.e.v.r for accompanying beautiful music to go with these words.

And a special thanks to the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust for helping us make this happen.

‘I can’t come out tonight, I got work in the morning!’

Poetic Short Film: I Got Work Tomorrow.

With the cost of living impacting so many of us and as we head into the winter, electric bills rising along with everything else we are already up against things are going to be really challenging financially which will have an impact on our mental health.

We all came together to bring this poem to life from our book ‘I Wanted To Quit Too’ to let you know through a journey home after work we are all in the same boat or should I say bus…

Presenting: I Got Work Tomorrow

@aaliyah 🕊️

Aaliyah - the original 12x16 inch prints from the @nmemagazine archive retrieved last week, unseen until now, I can’t believe they have survived 23 years, and it’s 23 years to the day since Aaliyah sadly passed away. Soul in abundance, one of her last ever photoshoots.

In what’s been a brutal week losing my own dad, life really should be celebrated, and Aaliyahs legions of admirers have done nothing but ever since.
