I will “briefly” share Our rainbow baby story for a single reason, to give you hope in case you are going through something similar, I’ve learned that it’s more common than we think, but most people (including me) just don’t talk about it 💜

@tecaton and I got married on 2011 and didn’t want kids right away (first 7 years literally) when we decided it was time, we tried for 6 months with no luck (Aug 2018 - Feb 2019)

So we spent almost a year doing a lot studies and “non invasive” fertility treatments (Feb-Oct 2019) everything perf with both of us. Also started doing research for IVF just in case this treatments didn’t work, that would be our next step starting 2020.

Finally when we least expect it, We got Lucky on October 2019!!! we were so happy and couldn’t wait to tell everyone our big news on Christmas!!!

Unfortunately we had a miscarriage on mid December 2019 at 8 weeks this was the only part of this journey where I felt devastated, I didn’t share it with anyone bc I thought that no one could really understand my pain, I felt not even my husband who was also very sad & supportive could feel what I was feeling , I was beyond sad, but after a few days trying to put my self together I started feeling like me again 💜

So We jumped to IVF treatment (Jan-Aug 2020) it usually takes 3 months but for us it took 7 🙄, jan and feb 2 follicle Extractions, it should have been 1 but we had an interruption during the first one due to a family emergency, then 2 myoma surgeries on March & May, by the end of July my body was finally ready! So I started the last hormonal treatment on Aug 1st.

On August 17 2020 we finally got our embryo transfer (to make this even more stressful my husband was infected with COVID-19 on Aug 8 with mild symptoms thank god & luckily I didn’t catch it and the procedure could go as planed 🙌🏻 I just had to go to CDMX alone for the transfer 🥺)

After 14 long days waiting we had our positive blood test result on Aug 31 at 4:00 pm and a few days later the first ultra sound where we saw our little miracle ✨(the pic we are holding in this post)

2 weeks after we got to hear our baby’s heartbeat for the first time on September 18 ❤️
