Friendship in your 30s looks a little different.

It’s fewer spontaneous plans and more calendar invites.

More “let me check childcare” than “I’m 5 minutes away.”

More voice notes sent at 6am or 10pm because that’s the only quiet moment you get.

As a first-time mum, a wife, and a woman navigating a demanding corporate career, life is full. Beautiful, but full! And sometimes, friendship can feel like one more thing to juggle.

But here’s what I’m learning:

• My “village” are all going through similar phases;

• Showing up doesn’t always mean showing up perfectly. It’s the quick “thinking of you” text. The rescheduled meet-up that still happens… eventually. The two-words instagram message to acknowledge their small wins.

• Your good friends will understand when work is hectic, when your baby hasn’t slept or is ill, when you’re running on empty. Those ones will stay, it pays to be gentle on yourself during this season.

Because building your village in this season isn’t about constant presence, it’s about intentional connection.

We’re all balancing a lot. Careers. Motherhood. Relationships. Ourselves. But the friendships that matter? They stretch, they adapt, they grow with you.

And somehow, in the middle of it all, we still find our way back to each other 🤍

Here’s to the friends who make the effort, extend grace, and remind you that you don’t have to do this life alone.

Here are some moments with my people this weekend. Carving out time for my friends these past couple of weeks has been fun 👯‍♀️🙏🏾🤍
