Welcome to the Oceanside Olympics — what we used to call “Man Games” before Grandma started winning. 😂 This year Broc won!

Every October our family takes over the sand in Oceanside, California for a full-on family beach competition. Long jump. 100-yard dash. Max push-ups. Longest handstand walk. Balancing on a stick. Hand wrestling. Sprinting into the waves to be first to touch the ball. Every age competes, everybody scores points, and nobody takes it easy.

Family flies in from Hawaii, Florida, and everywhere in between. For us it’s an easy 6-hour drive from St. George, Utah to the beach. Best road trip of the year.

40 years of family vacations in Oceanside. 10 years of Olympic-level bragging rights. Same beach, same chaos, sorer arms every year.
