Hello! My name is Drew and I am 100% committed to OSU, I am majoring in Biology on the premed track and hopefully minoring in spanish. I love lifting, running, cooking/baking, going out and also staying in. I love to run, and hike honestly anything active is right up my ally. I have been a dancer my whole life and would love to dance in college. I am always down to try something new, and do any side quest. I plan to rush in the spring! I can be a morning or a night person depends on the day and I am looking for a roommate and new friends, feel free to reach out!

Four years ago I walked into ROTC as just another freshman trying to figure everything out. I never expected this program to become such a huge part of my life or shape me into the person I am today. After my last military award ceremony, it’s hard to put into words what these four years really meant to me. From the early mornings, inspections, practices, competitions, community service, and long days that felt never ending at times every moment built memories I’ll carry with me long after graduation.

ROTC taught me discipline, leadership, accountability, confidence, and how to push through things even when I didn’t feel motivated. But more than anything, it gave me people I’ll never forget. The friendships, the laughs, the bus rides, the stressful moments before competitions, and all the memories in between made this experience worth every second.

It’s crazy thinking this chapter is over. Feels like yesterday I was the nervous freshman watching the upperclassmen, and now somehow I’m the senior walking away from my final award ceremony.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, grateful for everyone who was part of the journey, and thankful for everything this program gave me over the last four years.

“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
Thank you Lt Colonel Vannatta, and Master Sergeant Speight for everything. 🇺🇸
