Coach Pete Brown formerly at @donboscohoops now at the collegiate level with @drew_mbb has been an incredible addition to the staff here at @nextplayprep this year!

Next Play has given Pete the chance to work with players boys and girls of all levels without the pressure of winning games, memorizing plays, complaining parents and limited practice time. It’s also given Coach Pete a new perspective on player development, youth programming and additional income streams all while still allowing him the flexibility to still Coach teams!

If you’ve worked with Pete inside or even outside of Next Play It’s time to give him some flowers 💐🏀💪

Elite coaching. Elite competition. Elite opportunity. 🏀🔥

We brought an incredible coaching staff to the @realhoops_fl Northeast High Academic Camp in Connecticut this past weekend!

Our campers received high-level coaching and evaluations from coaches dedicated to helping the next generation of student-athletes grow both on and off the court‼️

Huge thank you to every coach who helped make this weekend a success. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💯

PART 1 WITH DREW UNIVERSITY HOOPER ELI YUSAVAGE 🏀‼️👏🏼

Eli averaged nearly 17 ppg last season but what’s really inspiring is his work ethic. As a freshman Eli averaged 5.6 ppg, 8.1 his sophomore year then almost 17 ppg his junior year. He evidently has a growth mindset and believed in himself, along with the belief that his teammates and coaches had in him. Eli gives a lot of great advice in this episode, and his journey really is inspiring for aspiring elite hoopers.

Stay tuned for part 2 and follow @coachjoey.meyers for more interviews with elite hoopers ‼️🏀

PART 1 WITH DREW UNIVERSITY MEN’S HOOPER BEN MANNS 👏🏼🏀
Ben talks about the major shift he had in his game from freshman to sophomore year, a goal he has for his junior season, and his journey to playing college basketball after playing THREE sports in high school. This is a good episode- Ben had a lot of great things to say, and I’m excited to see him continue to evolve in his junior year!

Stay tuned for part 2 and follow @coachjoey.meyers for more interview with elite college hoopers! 🏀👏🏼

DREW UNIVERSITY HOOPERS ELI YUSAVAGE AND BEN MANNS JOINED ME FOR 1 V 1 🐻 👏🏼🏀

Drew Men’s Basketball is a top-notch program that has had a lot of success- like winning the Landmark Conference Championship in 2025 and making an appearance in the NCAA D3 tournament. Eli and Ben are both significant contributors to the team, both averaging double digits last season and leading the team to a 19-7 record. It was great to sit down with them and talk about the game, their mindset, and what it’s like playing for an elite program.

Stay tuned for their episodes! 👏🏼🏀‼️
