VBS 2026 has officially come and gone! 💛 This week was absolutely amazing, and it was so incredible to see God work through each of the children and volunteers! I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be a crew leader this year and lead the Yellow Pod! 💛

Having chocolate syrup poured all over my head was definitely one of the highlights of the week… although I can’t say it was the best thing that happened to me! 😂🍫

Next year, the girls are taking the win so we can get the boys back! 💪🏼💛

I’ve been debating on whether or not I was gonna post this. Because how do I put what I witnessed and what God taught me along the way into a single instagram post. The broken hearts, the laughs, the anger, into 8 pictures.

I went into this trip carrying bitterness in my heart that I didn’t even know I was carrying. Bitterness towards mothers who I thought were choosing addiction over their children. But God led me to so many beautiful women who absolutely adored their children and thought so highly of them and through that I finally found peace with my bitterness. Peace beyond understanding. Thank you philadelphia, I will be back

I worry when I make a post like this that it’ll look like I’m the kind of Christian that gloats in his serving. However, to me, to post anything other than this would not represent this trip in any authentic way. But how even could I?

How could I describe to you the tears on one’s face when he accepts that his worth is more than his next drug high? Or another when he acknowledges that the God who formed him in his mother’s womb not only delights in him but is simply waiting for him to run back into the arms of his Father? How could I begin on it all? There just isn’t enough space here.

There were many hard moments on this trip, but truly without fail God triumphed in bringing something praiseworthy out of every single one. This trip was truly a blessing. Thank you to all who supported me on this mission.

Philly, thank you for everything you’ve taught me.
I’ll see you again soon.

No way to explain how or why Drew and I met other than God’s Devine intervention. Literally met him as he was running in front of my house during an Ironman last year?? May we continue to pursue and prioritize the Lord in our relationship. I get to marry my best friend and I am so thankful!!
