Four years ago, we started Poison Fastpitch with a vision. We wanted to build a competitive softball team and provide opportunities but somewhere along the way, it became so much more than that.

It became family!

I think about the girls laughing during warmups. The conversations. The celebrations after a hard fought win.

The long weekends where we were all exhausted, sunburned, and wondering why we signed up for another tournament.

Those are the moments that
I’ve watched players who doubted themselves become confident.

I’ve watched teammates become sisters. That’s the part of travel softball that often gets lost.

The game brings you together, but it’s the people who make you stay.

To the players:

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for believing in the the process.

If I was ever hard on you, it was never because I expected perfection. It was because I saw potential and knew what you were capable of.

I hope you remember what it means to be accountable. To show up even when you don’t feel like it. To be a great teammate. To respond to failure with determination instead of excuses.
Those lessons will matter far more than any statistic.

Parents,
You sacrificed weekends, vacations, sleep, money, and time because you believed this experience was worth it.

You cheered when things went well. You picked your daughters up when they struggled.

And together, we watched them grow into remarkable young women.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of that journey.

To my fellow coaches…

Thank you for carrying this load beside me.

People don’t see the planning, the text messages, the problem solving, and the countless hours that happen when no one else is watching.

There comes a time when every chapter ends.

I didn’t know how hard this moment would be until I started writing these words.

PFL!!!

To the softball moms , thank you for every early morning, late-night laundry load, dugout pep talk, road trip, snack run, and quiet prayer from the bleachers.

You cheer the loudest, love the hardest, and somehow hold everything together through every win and every tough loss. The memories you help create will last far beyond the game.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms behind the athletes. 🥎❤️

Poison 08 danced their way into the FINAL 4💃🥎

Last weekend we battled through missing pieces, injuries, and sickness — but never backed down. This team showed grit, toughness, and heart all weekend long.
