These are the pioneers of faceplants! Here are some wakeboarding crashes from @sidewayzfilms old wake films. This is why @byerly moves a little slower now days. @brannonmeek probably deserves a lifetime achievement for crazy bails! @darin_shapiro used to be 6 foot tall before the speedballs compressed his spine. @eriklutgert always going balls to the wall!! @bobsoven slamming with the big boys at age 4 or 5?? @dvanzura always there to catch all the crashes and not end up being a static. Todd Brendal’s was always charging like a wild man! @yaya.oneness surfing with her dog!

Lots of crashes that all happened 29-30 years ago. I will have some more crash edits soon.

Who did I miss?

30 Freaking Years ago!! 1996 - This is a Throwback section for the wakeboard film TwentyFour Seven! @dvanzura spent all his free time filming and travel with the riders to show the daily progression of the sport when it was growing like crazy. @sidewayzfilms was back in the edit room trying to keep up with all the footage coming in. @byerly was on fire!!! @cassettegallery - Thomas was still strapped into his board with the smoothest style. @mike.rogers was the last guy still wearing straps. @parxxx and @shaunmurray were still wearing gloves.
@god_x_loves_x_us Randall was still Randy!
These were some pretty awesome times to be a part of.
