Thanks to my friends for being the most gorgeous and wonderful people I could ever dream of - I’m a lucky girl with so many angels in my life!

And thank you to all the promoters and labels that have booked me, the dancers at each event and all the lovely staff that make it happen. Can’t wait for more dancing together next year 💕

Bruna and I were squished together sitting in the front of the mini bus, trying to communicate with our driver about life, but also about how to arrange some horses to get to a glacier, as we turned yet another bumpy road and Ushguli was starting right at us. This little village in the Svaneti region of Georgia, right in the border of russia- where the medieval towers peak through the stone houses- is the highest settlement in europe and inhabited by the Svans, has been part of our dream for years, and here we were together. We looked at each other, while we held hands, and said “I can’t believe we fucking made it!”. We got on our horses and galloped together through the mountains, as we screamed with freedom in our lungs. Our will power can take us to yet again to the edge of the world. Sunrises with new Svan friends, starry night skies with my best friend, homemade soups every night by a woman who’s family has been cooking in the same stove since the 8th century, I have a hard time even writing about this or sharing images, it’s just too big. Ushguli (which means fearless heart in Georgian) will forever be with me.

2022 in film 🪐

This year I set a goal to pick up a new hobby, something that had nothing to do with work (that can be hard when you work with creativity) - I got myself a point and shoot to start capturing things and trying to build new perspectives.

I’ve never been great at photography - in college it was my least favorite subject. I don’t have a great eye for angles and framing, but the challenge was to have something that could give me pleasure with no pressure to be good at it.

It feels freeing to do something just for the sake of doing it - and creating stories with images instead of words.

This the last dump, I promise! Thank you for sticking with me and we’ll be back soon with the normal programming.
