First weekend back on the court with the guys!!!

And for the first time in a while, For a few hours, my world and mind gets to go quiet. The appointments, the weight, the reality of it all… it fades. I get to stand there and watch these young men become something more than they were yesterday while doing something they love so much!

You see basketball. I see growth. I see boys learning how to carry pressure, how to handle doubt, how to fight for something bigger than themselves. Life’s already starting to test them… and they keep showing up anyway.

What they don’t realize is while I’m trying to be a bridge for them… they’ve become one for me.

There are days this fight feels heavy. Days I don’t have answers. Days I don’t feel like myself. But then I step in that gym, hear their voices, see their energy… and for a little while, I’m not the guy going through something, Im just me.

I’m just Coach. Dad. Unc. The man with the answers that can help!

And somehow, these young men give me strength without even knowing it. They give me purpose when I need it most.

Proud of them doesn’t even touch it.

This is bigger than basketball. This is life… and I’m grateful I get to walk it with them. Grateful I get a chance to watch their growth. Grateful they give me the opportunity to believe in them and be a part of their lives!

Much Love Fellas!! LFG!! Be proud of YOU!!
