30 years in June! Sand pits, hills, mud, snow, heat rain and some Moms and Dads knew what I was about, and brought their kids anyway!

On April 24, we brought together a great group of coaches, educators, and leaders to discuss research and practical recommendations for developing #life skills in a strength setting.

High performance and human development are not enemies – they are co-enhancing, if leaders are willing to embrace the weight room for its full educational potential 💪

Sports don’t teach life lessons… YOU do, coach. Amazing to have so many dedicated educators in house. Thank you to all who attended!

Join Us for Beyond Strength: Play, Move, Thrive!

☎️ Calling all coaches, educators, parents, and leaders of any kind – you’re not going to wanna miss this one day symposium!

Expert speakers will be present on health, strength, psychology, long term athlete development & mental health - our goal is to maximize the potential of athletics and physical education as a learning environment.

📚 professional development/continuing education units available!

Consider this:

Sports don’t teach life lessons... while sports and physical education offer one of the most powerful learning environments on the planet, COACHES and TEACHERS are the ones teaching those lessons. That’s you. Join us to take a deep dive into the research and practice of thoughtful, long term development through sport and P.E.

This event brings together National Coaches of the Year, college professors, and professional athletes to explore how intentional coaching can develop both performance and people. Topics include long-term athlete development, strength and conditioning curriculum design, developmental psychology, and mental health.

A combination of interactive lecture, panel discussion, and practical activities make this an event for ALL EDUCATORS... parents and youth coaches as well.

We’re excited to have you join the converstation!

It’s true. It’s always been true. Thrilled to be a part of a network of #GoodCoaches who recognized the power of athletics as an educational tool for character, leadership, and lifelong health and wellness!

If you are a K–12 school, this is an incredible opportunity to gain recognition at the national level! This is your chance to highlight the hard work, dedication, and excellence within your program—while showing how it fully aligns with the standards and mission of the NSCA.

National recognition not only celebrates your school’s commitment to strength and conditioning, but it also shines a spotlight on your athletes, coaches, and entire community. It’s about sharing your success story and inspiring others across the country to raise the bar.

A huge thank-you to everyone who played a role in making this possible. Your passion and dedication are what make achievements like this happen!

The @nscaofficial National Conference in Kansas City was fantastic. Honored to share important ideas at the intersection of mental health and high-performance. And grateful to share time with so many good people.

The NSCA sits at the powerful intersection of research and practice, enhancing this field for 50 years and is clearly going strong💪

Learned a lot, laughed a lot, and already looking forward to the next one! Until then, hope you all stay in touch!
