In collaboration with Bodegaā€™s Last Call, we step inside Vithalā€™s Family Restaurant and Bar; a drinking institution whose story began in 1875, when the family first sold bhel in Bombay. Today, Vithalā€™s stands in a very different Mumbai, carrying with it generations of regulars, familiar faces and traditions that have refused to disappear. We spend a day inside, talking to the family, staff and regulars about the people, memories and rituals from chaknas to decades-old drinking stories that have kept the place going. This oneā€™s going to be a long oneā€¦. Ever since I was a little kid, getting my hands on jewellery was one of the most fascinating things for me. Today, as I sit and write this post about a jewellery brand of my own, MY OWN??? Like whatttttt!!!!! Iā€™m very much still in disbelief. Safe to say, today I know what it feels like for a dream to come to life šŸ«€ @stakddofficial A few very important people who have been through the ride with me since DAY 1. Starting, obviously, with my co founders. Weā€™ve seen some bloody tough days, but we have this weird, almost crazy way of balancing each other out where shit gets done. And honestly, Iā€™ve found two pure hearted human beings in this journey, which Iā€™m currently more grateful for than I can put into words @aayushpahuja @sharran_rohira My parents, who literally never say no to me for ANYTHING and who insist I should do everything I lay my thoughts/eyes on @iqbalemakani @shabanamakani @showikk , my literal pillar. I would have gone absolutely batshit crazy had you not been the biggest grounding factor in my life. My girls, @simrangursahani @jaanvi_mukherjee my human diaries, who absolutely LIVE every emotion with me, from the first time I ever found out about me doing this to the day I launched it. Another reason for my sanity today. @yasshkadamm , who will literally show up at 3 AM if Iā€™m having a meltdown and stick around even if he was potentially having the worst day of his life. And my girls, @yusraakhatri @maisaraakhatri @iqraakhatri who have been a part of this journey from the very beginning, who make sure Iā€™m well fed @creamyconfections šŸ˜©šŸ«¶šŸ¼, that I donā€™t lose my shit, and who are constantly cheering for absolutely everything I ever attempt to do in life. I donā€™t ever normally write a post this long, but hell, I could not move past this milestone in my life without appreciating the people who have helped me get here. Hereā€™s to the dream that somehow became a very real thing. šŸ«€
