Introducing ‘Opening Act’ 🏵🌸 #1 @chichivodka ● Manuka ● Rosehip ● Strawberry ● Cultured Coconut ● Kohwai Paint 🟡 This is the first part of our new seasonal menu, which takes inspiration from three defining aspects of the Tūī; its place in the natural world, its distinctive song, and its striking appearance, translating each into a drink of its own. Along the way, we've drawn on the flavours and ingredients of the season, from spring blossoms and native flowers to ripe fruit and sweet nectar, bringing a little of the natural world into each glass! Native Songbird is our way of telling the story of the Tui through the things that make it so uniquely New Zealand. 🇳🇿 Every story has a beginning. This is where ours takes flight! Three Drinks 🍸🍸🍸 One Tūī ⭐️ A New Season at @drinkatberts 📍

After travelling the country and tasting cocktails from over 30 regional finalists, we’ve found our Scapegrace Cocktail Competition National Finalists. Next stop: Central Otago. Our finalists will make their way to Scapegrace Distillery to compete in the Grand Final and put their cocktails to the ultimate test in October! “We had a fantastic turnout for this year’s competition, and it’s been awesome travelling around the country and seeing the level of creativity coming through. We tasted some genuinely outstanding drinks, and the standard across the board made selecting our finalists incredibly difficult. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and put so much time and effort into their entries.” — Tim Giles Swipe to meet the finalists →

They told us where to go next, so here they are... For the last few weeks we have been sitting down with the people who run Welly hospo venues, asking them what keeps them in the mahi. Then at the end of every visit we ask one more thing. Who should we see next? Stina at @grazewinebar , @_kccafe on Courtenay Place, and Joshua at @apapacho.nz You’re next! We are seeing all three of them soon… What should we ask them? And if you are loving this series let us know🧡
